Here’s a simple, effective, and budget-friendly homemade all-purpose cleaner recipe that’s great for kitchen counters, bathroom surfaces, and more.

DIY All-Purpose Citrus Vinegar Cleaner

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white distilled vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • Peels from 1–2 oranges, lemons, or limes (or a mix)
  • Optional: 10–15 drops essential oil (like lavender, tea tree, or lemon)
Instructions:
  1. Infuse the vinegar (optional but smells amazing):
    • Place citrus peels in a jar.
    • Pour vinegar over them until fully covered.
    • Seal the jar and let it sit for 7–14 days in a cool, dark place.
    • Strain out the peels when ready.
  2. Mix your cleaner:
    • In a spray bottle, mix:
      • 1 part infused vinegar
      • 1 part water
    • Add essential oils if desired.
  3. Shake gently before each use.
